Meet Rayna
I’m Rayna, a violinist, teacher, and mum. I trained at the Royal Academy of Music, where I gained my performance degree and teaching diploma. Along with my work as a violinist, I’ve spent over a decade working with Music Masters as a lead tutor and mentor, shaping music education in schools across South London.
When my daughter was in nursery, I couldn’t find local classes in Forest Gate. So, I started Mini Musicianship for children like her, while also helping lead baby music sessions for organisations like Newham Nurture and Parents in Mind. Those early experiences showed me how vital music can be in supporting parents and children alike.
I’m also a qualified Colourstrings teacher, and draw on approaches like Kodály to create playful, engaging sessions. Above all, I want to bring my love of music home to my community through Mini Music Sessions and Mini Musicianship.
